about my other blog

In my mid-forties, I married a guy whose dream was to live in the country.
We found a site outside of town, but close to everything, and with enough
room for the grandkids to roam.  We built a house and moved Hubby's
folks in with us. We started collecting animals and raising our own food.

With two families under one roof, a field full of grandkids, cats, a dog, horses,
goats, chickens, and once even a llama, I found plenty to write about.

In December of 2016, we sold our farm and began living full-time in our RV in Florida.
(Sounds like a great time to also work on my book!)
We bought a piece of property in a 55+ community on the banks of the St Johns River.
We hope to be in our new central Florida home this spring.
Now, our dreams have turned to traveling the U.S. in our RV,
and putting down roots in our new hometown.

A Life On--and Off--the Farm is about my daily life on a hobby farm
and the new adventures awaiting us in our new home state on the road.
