I was THERE!

I'm having a bit of a problem in Blogville...  many of my comments are being eaten.

I've been running around catching up with many of you the last few days.  I like to leave comments at least once in a while so you know I'm reading your posts, but it's giving me grief!  Blogger keeps logging me out and asking me to chose a profile.  Then my comment vanishes into cyberspace!

I went back to a few today, and sure enough, the comments are gone.  I haven't changed any settings, so I don't know what was causing it. It seems to be working now, but I don't have time to go back to all of you and leave a note.  Just know that I was there.

Hi Lily -

How aggravating for you! Did you sign into your gmail account before trying to comment?

If you go into www.gmail.com, there is a way to get to Blogger help. They don't make it easy, but it's there.

Blessings,
Susan :)

That has happened to me before. I just stopped commenting until I knew it was fixed. If I fight with the computer it alwasy wins.

Ok so what you do is:

1. Sign on your blogger site.
2. Open a new window, now open the website that you want to make a comment on. Make your comment.

I always leave my site window open with me signed in. Then I open about 4 tabs (firefox) and find my friends blogs and then read and post there. It works every time. No more frustration.

The comments that vanish maybe the ones that have to be approved by the owner. (shrug)

Lily,
I've had that happen to me - words disappearing and even pages. I'm not tech savvy. I have trouble creating a document and printing it. Now we have blogs and twitters and the world is moving so fast that we have to move with it. Even us in the slow lane.
You spoke about going on side trips in your writing. I had to laugh because I could do an entire novel in side trips only. This is something we just have to work on - to stay focused and get what me really mean on the page. Blessings, Barb

Between slow processors and testy Blogger my blood pressure often rises while trying to get around to so many blog friends. Sorry to hear you've been having similar problems. I hope it's fixed for you soon, Lily!
